If dragging across small time cells on a phone is awkward, choose a date and a start and end time instead. For example, mark all candidate evenings from seven to nine as If needed, then change one day to Available. The following is an illustrative example of the workflow.
Choose a date and time range
Open My response from the invitation and expand Select a range without dragging. Choose one date or all candidate dates, set the start and finish, and select Available or If needed. Press Apply range to update those cells. Selections outside the range remain unchanged.
- 1Open My responseExpand the range selector
- 2Choose dates and timesSelect Available or If needed
- 3Apply the rangeReview the selected cells
- 4Enter a name and saveCheck the save status
For events that only ask for dates, use the date calendar. The time-range selector is for events collecting times as well.
Change or clear only the selected range
In this example, Monday from seven to eight becomes definitely available. Apply Available to that date and range; Tuesday's If needed cells stay as they were. To remove a mistaken selection, choose the affected range and press Clear range.
Keep invitation and owner links separate
After creating an event, copy the invitation link and send it to participants. If automatic copying fails, select the link field and copy it manually. The private owner link grants permission to change the schedule, so keep it separate from the participant invitation.
Create the next meeting with new dates
Choose Create a new event with these settings on the event page to reuse details such as title, location, time range and input mode. Enter new dates and the new creator name. Old responses, confirmations and owner access are not transferred. Collect replies through the new invitation link.
