Group scheduling
Find a time for your group with one shared link
When friends or colleagues have different schedules, collecting chat replies leaves somebody to build the timetable. Pithup puts availability in one place so you can inspect the overlap, check flexible responses and agree on a meeting time.

Choose dates only or collect times as well
- For a departure date, use a days-only event. For an overnight trip, check both departure and return dates.
- For a study group or meeting, offer candidate dates and hours. Check that the shared period is long enough for the actual session.
- Review the title and optional location, then send the invitation link. Participants can respond without installing an app or creating an account.
Separate definite and flexible availability
- Mark definite times as Available and times needing an adjustment as If needed. On a phone, tap cells or use the date and time-range selector.
- Enter a name, save and check the status. If saving fails, the selection remains available for a retry.
- Use the all-unavailable response if none of the candidates work. That is different from not having answered.
Inspect the overlap and outstanding questions
- Review the heatmap and suggestions based on current replies. Star essential participants to view options around their availability.
- Check that If needed arrangements are actually possible. Suggestions use received replies, so check with anyone who has not replied before deciding.
- If needed, choose to collect replies with names hidden when creating the event. This hides names from the organizer as well as other viewers.
Confirm and communicate the decision
- Use private owner access to confirm or change the schedule. Keep the owner link separate from the participant invitation.
- Copy an announcement with the chosen time and send it through your chat or email. Confirmation does not send notifications automatically.
- Create a new event with the same settings for the next meeting, choose new dates and collect fresh responses. Previous replies and owner access are not copied.
FAQ
Does everyone need an account?
No. Creating an event and responding do not require an account. Set a response password if you need to edit from another device, and keep private owner access separately.
How is this different from a date poll?
You can collect time ranges as well as dates and distinguish Available from If needed. Inspect the shared availability and send the agreed result yourself.
Are missing responses included in suggestions?
No. Suggestions use saved responses. Share the invitation and collect replies before treating an option as suitable for the group.
